How the barrier performs.
Wavetech's acoustic & thermal performance is achieved by inserting the mass barrier between the two walls of the Skymax louvre blade. Keeping the noise barrier separate from the structure it is bonded to allows flexibility to reflect and absorb the transmission of sound, targeting a wide range of frequencies.
Infused foam-seal within the louvre system ensures maximum sound reduction is continually achieved, and increasing foam thickness improves performance in some frequencies without affecting the overall weight of the system.
