What is the maximum size achievable with the Aerotech Opening Louvred Roof System?
Maximum blade width: 5.5 metres (in a single bay configuration). Maximum pivot/projection (pivot = number of blades in one bay): 7 metres with a single motor, up to 13m in one bay. Please note: one large continuous bay is achieved by adding an extra motor to each 7 metres; each time a motor is added one blade will be fixed.
How will the Aerotech System integrate?
We have two options. Option 1: as standard the system is fitted directly to your existing support frame; the opening needs to be a minimum of 230mm in height with a flat solid internal finish so the gutters and pivot tracks can be fixed to all sides. Option 2: as an optional extra the Aerotech System can be supplied with a powder-coated structural aluminium 250mm x 50mm support frame (and posts if required).
What colour options are available with the Aerotech System?
Select from over 300 standard Dulux or Interpon powder colours, or select a custom anodised finish to ensure your architectural requirements are matched.
Will the Aerotech System automatically close if it starts to rain?
If you choose to add the Aerotech Rain Sensor, the roof will automatically close when the rain starts to ensure your area stays dry all year round.
What are the control options available?
The Aerotech System can be simply operated by a wall switch or a remote control — or even from your mobile device as an optional extra.
How does the Aerotech System operate?
The Aerotech System opens and closes automatically by premium German-made 240 Volt electric linear actuator.
Is the Aerotech System suitable for commercial and/or residential applications?
The Aerotech System is manufactured utilising high-quality materials. It is ideal for installation in the harshest marine environments on all commercial and/or high-end residential projects.
Can I track the sun with the Aerotech System to provide constant sun control?
As an optional extra, include an Aerotech sun-tracking device to ensure you're protected from the punishing sun year-round, or allow for light ingress on those overcast days when light is needed.
Will the Aerotech System last as long or longer than other systems available on the market?
The Aerotech System utilises the very highest quality German-made motors, raw materials & finishes. The system will look as new and last for a lifetime of uninterrupted, hassle-free use when maintained regularly.
Is the Aerotech System suitable for installation in coastal locations?
The Aerotech System is ideal for coastal locations. It is made utilising non-corrosive materials including 316 marine-grade stainless steel end plates, springs and pins, hardened nylon bushes and powder-coated extruded aluminium blades, gutters & pivots.
What is the difference between the Aerotech Linear Blade and standard shaped blades?
The Aerotech linear blade is designed to offer the best view through the blades when in the open position. We achieve an unobstructed view through the blades due to the blade being flat on each side, giving your space a clean & open feeling to the outside elements. When the blade is closed it offers the appearance of an architectural timber-panelled ceiling — not a typical Colorbond-type metal roof.
What are the dimensions of the Aerotech Blades?
